The Claxton Bank participated in a campaign to raise funds for the Red Cross by having tellers use the slogan, “Change someone’s life with your change!” In just a few days, one Claxton Bank branch raised $1, 175! That amount combined with their other branches’ amounts, their Christmas gift and their yearly donation catapulted them to the top of the list of generous donors in eight of our outlying counties!
