Savannah Chapter Annual Meeting, June 11, 2009

The Savannah Chapter of the American Red Cross held our annual meeting June 11th. After the business portion of the meeting we moved into a recognition mode to thank some of the companies who have helped us financially this past year. The companies represented here are ones who dug deeper and gave even more than usual during this tough economic time.

When a volunteer hugs a disaster client that goes a long way to helping the person feel better. But without the financial resources to give that client the money to buy a hot meal, some clothes and shoes, the hug wouldn't be nearly as effective. We thank all of our donors, and look forward to thanking donors we haven't even yet met!
